Today’s writing tip is meant to ENCOURAGE you through your early writing projects.

Lately, you’ve written a story or perhaps a first chapter of an inspired novel idea. You take a break and you come back to it only to declare “MY WRITING SUCKS!” or perhaps you find yourself asking “WHY CAN’T I WRITE!”. This is completely normal. Writing first drafts always suck – if done right. Yes, you heard that correctly. Writing that steps from your free flowing RIGHT side of your brain allows you to delve deep into your subconcious and pull out a story that really resonates with your readers. It’s only when you revise using your left side brain where the righting improves.

For information on how to embrace your right and left side brain please read our recent article on the subject.
